I shot the first two through my sunglasses...the third is just to show the difference. I don't think the shot would have worked without the filter.

It's been great to see the posts for April so far. This month's challenge is a little more abstract so it should be interesting to see everyone's take on this. Anything old will work: old people, breakdancing, a thrift store couch just to name a few.

april challenge: shutter speed slowdown

i know this is fairly general but i think it will get us back to basics with our cameras. we'll feel closer to the mechanics and relinquish automatic settings. so basically go out there and capture amazingness with an obvious flare for composition rooted in slow shutter speed emphasis.

examples:
running water slowed to look cottony
tail lights of cars blurred to streaks
ect....

this whole thing kicks off april 1st. i will try to make it so that you are all able to join the blog and post things autonomously. the rules though are that for every challenge we each submit 2 of our best pictures. after this first round i think we should each get a turn to decide the challenge.
